What Can You Expect from Texas Custom Decks?
- Outdoor living areas built with the same quality craftsmanship
you expect indoors.
- Professionals who enjoy what they do. And do it well.
- A process built around you and your vision.
At Texas Custom Decks, “custom” is our middle name. Unlike
some deck companies, we don’t limit you to off-the-shelf designs
or a cookie-cutter approach. We believe every project should be a reflection
of the clients’ interests and tastes, built to uniquely maximize
the natural beauty of Central Texas. We design projects that are functional
while blending seamlessly into the home’s style and architecture.
While every project is approached from your unique vantage point, Texas
Custom Decks follows a proven design/build process that ensures clients
know what to expect throughout the design/build process
Our Design/Build Process
Step #1. Get acquainted with you and your
project.
Before we
put pencil to drawing paper, we meet with you, at your home.
Our project design consultant will interview you to understand
your project goals, vision, design ideas and budget. We also
walk the site with you, to identify property characteristics
that might impact
design and create a digital photographic journal of your home
and landscape.
Step #2. Create and review design ideas.
From the initial meeting,
our design team will create one to three designs for your
review. This step typically takes 3-7 days.
We schedule a follow-up meeting to review the plans and projected
costs. Step #3. Finalize project.
Once you have chosen your design,
we finalize the drawings and add the project to our construction
schedule. At this point, a 25%
deposit is due with your contract to add your project to our
production schedule.
Step # 4. Set a schedule.
Next, your project manager meets with
the build team to review all details and establish the project
completion target date. At least
48 hours prior to “breaking ground,” 50% of the total contract
amount is due.
Step #5. Construction begins!
Your project manager is your
on-the-ground contact for any questions. The project manager
will keep you updated of the job’s progress.
We will schedule a project walk-through with you upon completion,
at which time the remaining 25% payment is due. Projects generally
are completed 2-6 weeks from the date contract is signed, assuming
no significant weather or material delays.
